Installation Guide
FileToHash installs through the Microsoft Store on Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit devices.
Check requirements
Confirm you're running Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit, before installing.
Open the Store listing
Go to the FileToHash page on the Microsoft Store from the Download page on this site, or search "FileToHash" directly in the Store app.
Select Get / Install
The Store handles downloading and installing the signed application package for you.
Launch FileToHash
Open it from the Start menu once installation finishes.
Review the License Agreement
Read and accept the Proprietary Freeware License on first launch to continue.
Choose your theme
Pick dark or light theme in Settings to match your working environment.

Updates are automatic
Because FileToHash is distributed through the Microsoft Store, updates are delivered the same way as other Store apps — no manual download required.
